Creamy pasta sauce made from tahini!
I love tahini! Whether in hummus, as a salad dressing, in sauces or even in sweet recipes – tahini cannot be missing from my pantry! Tahini (or tahin / tahina) is made from peeled or unpeeled sesame and is therefore a sesame paste. I mostly use sesame paste made from peeled sesame (white tahini) because it tastes milder.
When it has to be made quickly, I often rely on sesame noodles. A creamy pasta sauce made from tahini in combination with rice noodles that do not need to be cooked! It couldn’t be easier + more delicious! The tahini pasta is not only quick to make, you also only need a few ingredients, which you usually already have at home – perfect!
The vegan tahini pasta sauce is super creamy and delicious, slightly spicy and sweet thanks to sambal oelek and agave syrup, and lime juice rounds it off – the perfect combination!
